On October 12, 2025, the Board of the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) appointed Teresa Ferreira as Vice President of Strategic Engagement and Growth at ADRA International. In this new global leadership role, Teresa will oversee key strategies to enhance ADRA’s visibility, donor engagement, and partnerships in support of its humanitarian mission across more than 100 countries.

Teresa’s journey in ministry began as a teaching principal at Crawford Adventist Academy’s Peel Campus in Ontario from 2013 to 2014. Her passion for service and mission quickly propelled her into broader leadership roles, including Executive Secretary of the Maritime Conference, where she also served concurrently as Education Superintendent and Director of Camp Ministries. Most recently, she held the position of Director of Philanthropy and Marketing at ADRA Canada, where she played a key role in strengthening the agency’s national presence and donor engagement efforts.

The Ontario Conference extends heartfelt congratulations to Teresa and prays for God’s continued guidance as she steps into this vital position. Her appointment is not only a recognition of her exceptional leadership and dedication but also an inspiration to others committed to serving God through education, ministry, and humanitarian work.
