Sudbury Adventist Church Joins Forces with Retailers

This holiday season, the Sudbury Seventh-day Adventist Church bridged the gap for local families in need. This year’s outreach was made possible through the generous support of Costco, No Frills, and Metro. These partnerships enabled the church to scale its efforts, providing high-quality food and essential supplies to families struggling with food insecurity during the winter months.
Beyond traditional food drives, the church has launched a mission in collaboration with Pastor Olalekan, the Sudbury Jail Chaplain. This initiative focuses on a group often overlooked: expectant mothers and new moms recently released from the Sudbury Jail. By providing essential baby supplies and nutritional support, the program aims to give these women and their children a dignified, fresh start.
“The transition from the correctional system back into the community is a critical moment,” says the church leadership. “With the help of our local retailers and Pastor Olalekan, we are able to provide the essentials that allow these mothers to focus on building a stable future.”
The Sudbury Seventh-day Adventist Church extends its deepest gratitude to the management of Costco, No Frills, and Metro for their commitment to community well-being.
