Ontario Conference Pastor Shares Secrets of Evangelism with North American Pastors

On Feb. 24, Pastor Bob Windsor of Nepean Seventh-day Adventist Church spoke at ehuddle, the North American Division’s Pastoral Evangelism, Visioning, and Leadership Conference at Andrews University.
Talking to a crowd of pastors from across North America, Windsor's presentation focused on the spiritual mechanics of church growth. “How does this work?” Windsor asked. “It starts with establishing a spiritual DNA—developing a Christ-directed vision that drives the mission.”
He walked the audience through the transformation of his church in Nepean, Ontario. When he arrived, it was a monocultural congregation of 100 members with little connection to the community and a median age of 55. Today, it is a multiethnic congregation of 200, where 70% of the members are under 45 and actively engaged with and recognized by the community.
