Ottawa Francophone Shows Solidarity Through Hamper Distribution

Main Secourable once again rose to the occasion this year, demonstrating what consistent community engagement and compassion look like in action. Through its annual hamper distribution, the Community Services Department of the Ottawa Francophone Adventist Church supported more than 90 families, ensuring they could experience the holiday season with nourishment and hope.
This initiative was made possible through a valued partnership with Adonis grocery store, whose generous discounts on fresh produce significantly amplified the reach and quality of the hampers. Their support enabled Main Secourable to maximise every dollar received and provide families with healthy, culturally appropriate food items, an essential consideration for the communities served.
Behind the scenes, dedicated volunteers worked diligently to organise, prepare, and distribute the hampers. Their collective effort reflected a shared commitment to service and to the long-standing tradition of neighbours helping neighbours.
For the fourth year, Main Secourable continues to deliver impact where it matters most. This latest distribution is not only a logistical success but also a reaffirmation of the church’s mission to stand in the gap for families in need and to foster a strong, caring, and resilient community.
With trusted partners like Adonis grocery store and the unwavering support of volunteers, the Community Service leader, Ralph Seraphin, said that Main Secourable proves once again that when compassion is paired with collaboration, meaningful change follows.
