A Joyful Day in Ottawa – Adventurer Family Fair 2025 Shines with Purpose and Praise!

What an incredible day it was at the Adventurer Family Fair 2025, held for the very first time in the Ottawa region on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the Carleton Place Arena! The event was a heartwarming success, overflowing with smiles, laughter, learning, and the true spirit of Christian fellowship.
With this year’s inspiring theme, “I Am a Promise with a Purpose,” Adventurers from clubs across Eastern Ontario District came together to showcase their creativity, faith, and dedication. Each club prepared beautifully decorated booths featuring Bible character displays, fun interactive games, and hands-on activities that reflected both imagination and a deep love for God.
The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as families and friends gathered to celebrate the joy of belonging to the Adventurer community—a growing family that continues to unite hearts and nurture young disciples in faith and service.
Over 150 attendees from nine Adventurer clubs in the Eastern Ontario district participated in the fair, making it a truly collaborative and joyful gathering. The event’s success was made possible through the efforts of volunteers, pastors, parents, and leaders, whose teamwork and enthusiasm brought the day to life.
Special appreciation goes to the culinary team from the Ottawa East Seventh-day Adventist Church, who lovingly prepared and served delicious meals for everyone to enjoy. The Master Guide Trainees from the Nepean and Ottawa East Master Guide Clubs also played a vital role in supporting the day’s activities—organizing games, helping with face painting, and engaging children in fun, faith-filled experiences that kept the smiles shining all day long.
One of the most memorable highlights of the event came from Instructor Keith of the Carleton Place Adventurer Club, who captured everyone’s attention with a creative and faith-inspiring presentation. Using balloon sculpting, he vividly brought the Creation story to life, showing how God made everything with a purpose—a beautiful reminder that each of us, too, is created with meaning and divine intent.
As the day drew to a close, hearts were filled with joy and spirits were lifted. Reflecting on the success of the fair, participants were reminded that through unity, we are laying a strong foundation of faith, service, and fellowship for our young Adventurers.
We extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed their time, talents, and prayers to make this historic first Adventurer Family Fair in Ottawa a resounding success. You have truly shown that our promises are not just words—but a purpose-filled calling to grow, serve, and shine for Jesus!
