The Ontario Conference Adventist Ministries Convention (AMC) will take place on March 13–14, 2026, at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel & Suites, located at 600 Highway 7, Richmond Hill, Ontario.

This year’s convention promises to be a meaningful and enriching experience, designed to equip attendees to grow into fruitful disciples who are on fire for Jesus. A highlight of the weekend will be the Sabbath morning devotional on March 14 at 8:30 a.m., to be presented by Patricia Ferreira Lopez, Director of Women’s and Children’s Ministries of the Ontario Conference.

Patricia is a Portuguese-Canadian teacher, author, speaker, storyteller, mentor, and ministry leader. With 25 years of experience as an educator in schools across Canada and the United Kingdom, she brings a deep passion for learning and spiritual formation. She holds a Master’s degree in Education, Gender, and International Development from the University of London’s Institute of Education. Throughout her career, Patricia has been dedicated to nurturing young minds—not only to become responsible global citizens, but also committed citizens of God’s Kingdom.

She has a special passion for inspiring women and mentoring girls to discover their God-given voice and purpose. Patricia is the author and creator of the Lady Lazarus Series, a set of revival seminars thoughtfully designed for women and community outreach. This interactive series addresses lifelong struggles and challenges that can erode a woman’s sense of worth and hinder her alignment with God’s purpose.

In her spare time, Patricia enjoys various forms of art and creative pursuits, often alongside her innovative husband, Alonso, and their artistic daughter, Amelie.
