Hope Vision Fellowship’s Annual Christmas Party 2025
December 11, 2025 | Andrew King | Ontario Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
Once again, we gathered at our familiar location on Bellamy. The winter air was a little chilly—just what you would expect this time of year—but the warmth inside the Shiloh Seventh-day Adventist Church more than made up for it. Tables were beautifully decorated, the food was ready to be served, and guests arrived one by one, filling the space with cheerful chatter.
Every year, the Ontario Conference hosts a Christmas party for the members, family, and friends of the Hope Vision Fellowship (HVF). Months of planning go into this cherished event, and invitations are eagerly anticipated. With games, prizes, music, and gifts for everyone, it is a celebration that truly brings joy to our community.
HVF meets monthly in Scarborough at 24 Nelson St., welcoming members who are blind or visually impaired. This annual gathering is the final event of the year and a highlight for many, offering food, fun, and fellowship. Maria McClean, Pat and Ralph Page, and Pastor Andrew King work closely with the organisers to ensure everything comes together seamlessly. The festivities include lively table games, carol singing, special musical presentations, and, of course, gifts for all.
As the evening drew to a close and farewells were exchanged, one HVF member offered a heartfelt prayer of thanksgiving for the Ontario Conference and staff who faithfully host this celebration each year. After the final gift was given, the last dish washed, and the bottles of sparkling grape juice distributed, we bid one another Season’s Greetings and Happy Holidays. Another year wrapped up, and we left grateful for the time spent together. A blessing to all, and to all a good night. We hope to see everyone again next year.
You are always welcome to join us at 24 Nelson St. in Scarborough. We wish you and your loved ones a happy and safe holiday season. God’s blessings to all.
