Back to School Welcome from Superintendant Hazelwood

Dear Parents, Students, and Staff of our Ontario Family of Schools,

On behalf of the Ontario Conference Office of Education, it is my great privilege and pleasure to welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year across the Ontario Family of Schools: Ottawa Adventist School, College Park Elementary School, Crawford Adventist Academy Main Campus, Crawford Adventist Academy East Campus, Crawford Adventist Academy Peel Campus, Grandview Adventist Academy, Adventist Christian Elementary School and Windsor Adventist Elementary School.

As we open the doors to a new school year, we do so with hearts filled with gratitude, anticipation, and faith in God's leading. Each year brings with it new opportunities to learn, grow, serve, and discover the unique purpose God has for each one of us. We are excited to partner with our families in providing an educational experience that nurtures academic excellence while strengthening the faith and character of every student. Our dedicated teachers and staff have spent much of the summer preparing classrooms, planning engaging learning experiences, and praying for the students they will serve. They stand ready to create safe, caring, and Christ-centered environments where every child is valued, encouraged, and challenged to reach their God-given potential. We remain committed to educating the whole child by developing minds for learning, hearts for service, and lives grounded in Christian values.

To our parents and guardians, thank you for the confidence you place in our schools. Your support, encouragement, and partnership play an essential role in the success of our students. Together, we have the privilege of shaping the next generation of leaders, thinkers, servants, and disciples of Christ.

To our students, welcome back! Whether you are returning to one of our schools or joining our school family for the first time, know that you are valued, and capable of achieving great things. Embrace every opportunity that comes your way. Ask questions, pursue your goals, build meaningful friendships, serve others with kindness, and trust God to guide your journey. This year is a new chapter filled with endless possibilities.

As a school community, let us move forward with courage and confidence, knowing that God goes before us. Challenges may arise, but they also provide opportunities for growth, resilience, and faith.
