The Ontario Conference is excited to announce that Pastor James (Jim) Howard, President of the Adventist World Radio (AWR), will serve as the Sabbath morning plenary speaker at the 2026 Adventist Ministries Convention. The convention will be held March 13–14, 2026, at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel & Suites in Richmond Hill, Ontario.

Before his election as AWR president, Pastor Howard served as the Director of Sabbath School and Personal Ministries at the General Conference (GC) beginning in 2018. During his tenure, he provided leadership for numerous initiatives that significantly impacted the global Seventh-day Adventist Church. Notably, he played a key role in the development of "Alive in Jesus," the Sabbath School quarterly curriculum for babies through youth, launched in January 2025. He also contributed to the production of the Global Total Member Involvement and Grow Your Church disciple-making resources.

Pastor Howard brings a wealth of experience in pastoral ministry, Sabbath School, Personal Ministries, Mission, and Discipleship, and his insights will be a blessing to all who will attend.
