Pentecost and Beyond: Mission Emphasis for 2026

As the year draws to a close, it is fitting to pause and give thanks to God for all the marvellous things He has done throughout 2025. Across Ontario, we have clearly witnessed His guidance through the Pentecost 2025 & Beyond proclamation events. In every location, God’s hand was evident—opening hearts, empowering both leaders and members, and blessing each effort with lasting fruit.
As of December 31, 2025, 838 baptisms* have been reported, 167 professions of faith recorded, and countless lives transformed as faith has been renewed and strengthened. Looking ahead to 2026 with great anticipation, we pray that the evangelistic passion of all church members will be rekindled—marked by a deeper commitment to the mission and renewed confidence in God’s power to work through His people.
After the successful Pentecost 2025 campaign, the North American Division (NAD) has selected “Pentecost and Beyond” as its evangelism theme for 2026. The Ontario Conference, which embraced this emphasis in 2025, has confirmed its continued adoption and affirmed the following guiding statements:
Our Vision:
Connecting Like Jesus
Our Mission Emphasis:
Pentecost and Beyond
Our Growth Direction:
Disciple Making
All church members are invited to be on fire for Jesus in 2026. No one should remain a mere spectator. Each believer is encouraged to pray earnestly for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, participate in community outreach and evangelism—both in-person and digital—nurture others through intentional discipleship, and faithfully share the gospel in preparation for Christ’s soon return.
Indeed, Pentecost and Beyond is a timely call for all Adventists in Ontario to unite in ministry and mission in 2026, building momentum towards the OneVoice27: Mission for All global initiative, scheduled for 2027.
