Pastor Rod Rene Installed at Milton and Guelph Adventist Churches

Pastor Rod Rene was warmly welcomed and officially installed as the new pastor of Milton Adventist Church on November 1, 2025, by Pastor Joel Nembhard, Ontario Conference Director of Sabbath School and Personal Ministries. The installation marked a significant milestone for the congregation, as members gathered to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter under Pastor Rene’s leadership.

The following Sabbath, November 8, 2025, Pastor Rene was also installed at Guelph Adventist Church by Pastor Allan Chichester, Ontario Conference Family and Men’s Ministries Director. Both ceremonies reflected the excitement and anticipation of the congregations, who welcomed Pastor Rene and recognized his dedication, vision, and unwavering commitment to spiritual growth, community engagement, and pastoral care.

Originally from the beautiful island of Saint Lucia, Pastor Rene is a passionate servant of God with over 14 years of ministry in the Saint Lucia Mission of Seventh-day Adventists. He has pastored four districts, ministering to more than twenty congregations, and has held key leadership roles, including Youth Director and Vice Chairman of the Eucharist Lewis Adventist School Board.

An accomplished evangelist, Pastor Rene has led over fourteen campaigns across Saint Lucia, Canada, and New York, inspiring many to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. Known for his energetic, Bible-based preaching and genuine heart for people, he strives to empower others for service and spiritual growth.

Pastor Rene is married to Alecia Charlery-Rene, and together they are blessed with two children, Logan and Ariel. He is also pursuing an MBA and a Master’s in Forensic Psychology, blending his interests in leadership and human behaviour to strengthen his ministry.

Beyond his pastoral duties, Pastor Rene enjoys cricket, basketball, and American football, and has a passion for graphic design, video editing, and social media. An intermediate piano player and vocalist, he uses his talents to uplift and inspire those around him.

A man of vision, faith, and balance, Pastor Rod Rene continues to serve God and humanity with humility and purpose, striving to transform lives and lead others into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

These installations underscore Pastor Rene’s new dual role in guiding and nurturing the spiritual life of both congregations. Members expressed gratitude for his presence and look forward to the inspiration, guidance, and ministry he will bring to their communities.
