From Bancroft to Kirkland Lake: The Gospel Spreads

Two years ago, Bob Martin and Breanna LeLiever were baptized into the Bancroft Group, a young and growing congregation. Not long after their baptism, they began sharing their newfound faith through Bible studies with others. Among those they studied with were Bob’s brother, Patrick, and his wife, Beth, who live in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Because of the distance between them, their studies took place online—proof that God’s Word knows no boundaries.
Patrick and Beth lived many miles from the nearest Seventh-day Adventist Church in Haileybury, making regular attendance nearly impossible. Yet God was already preparing a way. Recently, word came that the pastor of the Haileybury Church is beginning a new group in Kirkland Lake—not only for Patrick and Beth but also for another family of seven living in the same area.
What an incredible testimony of how quickly God’s work is spreading! The Bancroft Group itself was established only seven years ago, in 2018, and now numbers 20 dedicated members. Even before officially becoming a company, they had already inspired the birth of another group in a new community.
Praise God—His work is moving forward like lightning, touching hearts and planting new lights across Ontario!
