Recently, a newspaper clipping from the Bancroft Seventh-day Adventist group was shared with me. The article showcased their health and wellness series. What caught my eye was the article went beyond reporting on the information the health professionals communicated. The article highlighted the Adventist Health message and even included Genesis 1:29 as an example of God's original diet for humanity. On top of this, the church's phone number was provided so members of the community could register for future upcoming health events.
The Bancroft Adventist group's program was so impactful that the media wanted to tell the community. In a time when secular media rarely shares anything positive about Christianity, it was beautiful to see the reporter and editors of the paper value the importance of sharing health and biblical information with their readers.
As we present our evangelism strategies to the Lord in prayer, let's ask the Holy Spirit to amplify our impact far beyond our human capabilities. Let's strive to share the Gospel in new ways that captivate hearts and ignite an interest so great that it spreads like ripples across communities so that even the media are moved to share the good news of Jesus.

On the tenth day of the first month of Nisan, exactly forty years after the Exodus, the people of Israel crossed the Jordan to possess the land the LORD had promised them. Following the LORD’s instructions, Joshua commanded twelve men, one from each tribe, to gather twelve stones out of the midst of Jordan where the priests’ feet stood firm, and he used them to build a memorial to remind the Israelites and their children of the many wonders the LORD had done before them.
Many of us have had to go through a wilderness experience and have witnessed the LORD’s miraculous “Jordan-crossing” leading and deliverance. And so, to remind us and our children of the many wonders He has done, beginning on the tenth day of this first month of 2024, we invite you and your family to join us as we pray together in the 10 Days of Prayer, giving praises and thanks to the One who has promised to continue to lead us until the day of Maranatha.
Meeting Schedule
Day 1 (Wednesday, January 10) and Day 10 (Saturday, January 20): Joint Zoom Session.
Days 2 – 9 (January 11-19): By Churches.
