Around the World with Jesus: A Celebration of Faith, Family, and Culture
Posted: October 28th, 2026

More than 480 Adventurers, parents, and guardians gathered at the Kingsway College Gymnasium on Sunday, October 25, 2026, for the Ontario Conference Adventurer Family Fair. Under the theme “Around the World with Jesus,” Adventurers celebrated faith, family, and cultural diversity while discovering the unifying love of Jesus Christ.
Inspired by Revelation 7:9, which describes a great multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language standing before God’s throne, the event offered a glimpse of God’s diverse worldwide family. Through worship, cultural exploration, fellowship, and play, children and families were reminded that despite differences in backgrounds, languages, and traditions, we are all united in Christ.
One of the highlights of the day was the opportunity for Adventurers to travel around the world without leaving the gymnasium! Eleven country booths offered children and families an opportunity to explore different cultures, traditions, and countries while discovering the universal message of Jesus’ love.
Equipped with specially designed “Around the World with Jesus” boarding passes, Adventurers embarked on a journey of discovery, visiting the country booths and learning to appreciate cultural differences while recognising their shared identity as members of God’s global family.
The celebration began with a worship service featuring Adventurers from various clubs. The program included a Parade of Nations, praise and worship, musical presentations, Scripture reading, and a devotional message presented by nine-year-old Josie and her father.
These meaningful presentations reminded everyone that Adventurer Ministry is about more than activities and events. It is about helping children develop a personal relationship with Jesus, build Christian character, and experience the joy of serving others.
The Adventurer Family Fair also provided an opportunity for parents, guardians, club leaders, and children to strengthen relationships through Christian fellowship. The enthusiastic participation of families highlighted the importance of partnership among the home, church, and Adventurer Ministry in nurturing children's spiritual growth.
Throughout the day, families connected, shared experiences, and strengthened friendships in a welcoming, Christ-centred environment.
Following the cultural displays and lunch, the afternoon continued with organised games and award presentations. These activities encouraged teamwork, participation, exploration, and play, supporting Adventurer Ministry’s mission of helping children grow spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially while strengthening family relationships.
The success of the Adventurer Family Fair would not have been possible without the dedication and commitment of Adventurer leaders, club directors, area coordinators, volunteers, parents, and supporters.
Special appreciation goes to the participating clubs and families, the volunteers who organised the country booths, and everyone who generously contributed their time, talents, and resources. Their willingness to serve continues to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and their families.
As we reflect on the 2026 Adventurer Family Fair, we are reminded of the vital role Adventurer Ministry plays in helping children understand that they belong to something greater than themselves—a worldwide family united by faith in Jesus Christ.
The theme “Around the World with Jesus” was more than a celebration of countries and cultures. It was a powerful reminder that, regardless of where we come from, the language we speak, or our cultural background, Jesus loves each one of us.
May we continue to nurture our Adventurers to love God, appreciate others, embrace diversity, and share the love of Jesus wherever they go.
One world. Many cultures. One amazing Saviour—Jesus Christ!
