September to Remember: A Month of Prayer, Family, and Mission

September 2026 promises to be a special month centred on prayer, family, and mission—and all Adventists across the Ontario Conference are warmly invited to participate.

September 5 — Day of Prayer & Global Launch of All Things New

On Sabbath, September 5, we will unite in prayer as we join the global launch of All Things New, a public expression of the OneVoice27 initiative.

This is our opportunity to pray like Jesus and introduce others to the One who promises to make all things new. Let us begin this journey by seeking God together and asking Him to renew our churches, families, communities, and hearts.

September 6–12 — Family Togetherness Week of Prayer

From September 6–12, we will celebrate the Family Togetherness Week of Prayer under the theme “Anchored Family in a Digital World.”

In a world filled with screens, distractions, and competing voices, our families need to remain anchored in Christ. This week provides an opportunity to pray together, worship together, and grow together as families committed to following Jesus.

September 11 — Musical Presentation & Conference-Wide Virtual Prayer Meeting

On Friday, September 11, the entire Ontario Conference family is invited to a special evening of worship and prayer.

The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. with a special musical presentation—an opportunity to reflect on  God’s goodness and set the tone for the evening of prayer.

From 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., join us for the Conference-wide Virtual Prayer Meeting via  Zoom featuring special guest speakers Dr. Willie and Dr. Elaine Oliver, Family Ministries Directors of the General Conference.

September 12 — Digital Outreach and Day of Prayer for Families

On Sabbath, September 12, let us take the message beyond our church walls and into the digital world.

Every church is encouraged to create at least 10 pieces of digital content—including reels, carousels, stories, and other creative ways of sharing the hope of Jesus.

You don't have to be tech-savvy or a social-media expert to participate. Digital evangelism can begin with something as simple as watching, liking, commenting on, and sharing Adventist content. Every interaction can help a message of hope reach someone who desperately needs it.

September 12 also marks the culmination of Family Togetherness Week of Prayer. Churches are encouraged to organise special prayer sessions focused on the needs of families and to intercede for families navigating the challenges of life in a digital age.

September to Remember

May this September be more than a series of events. May it become a September to Remember—a month when the Ontario Conference family comes together in prayer, strengthens our families, embraces digital mission, and keeps Jesus at the centre of everything we do.
