We were saddened to learn of an attack on Monday afternoon, April 23, in Toronto, at Yonge and Finch, when a rented Ryder van mounted the sidewalk and plowed down pedestrians for several blocks. "IGNITE!" Camp Meeting 2018

Camp meeting preview

Romans 12:11-13 The Message (MSG)

“Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder. Help needy Christians; be inventive in hospitality.”

In 2018, our overarching goal has been revival and transformation across Ontario.  Accordingly, “IGNITE” is our theme for conference-wide events in 2018, including this year’s camp meeting on June 16 at the International Centre, Mississauga.

Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America Issues Statement Emphasizing Importance of Equality for all Americans

The Statue of Liberty, a longstanding symbol of freedom in the U.S., has these words engraved on its base: “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore, … Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!” Some today, however, are questioning the presence of those on our shores who come from countries currently facing political, economic, and natural disaster challenges.
